This beach’s name stems from the fact that it housed one of these fishing devices in the past.
It is the southern prolongation of Voramar beach, and has similar characteristics. As in the case of Voramar beach, it is flanked by an exclusively pedestrian seafront that gives a sensation of tranquillity and peace. The beach is of fine sand with a gentle slope.

One of its most important features is that it is an easily accessible beach. It has walkways to the shore, changing rooms, toilets and amphibious chairs with qualified personnel at the service of all swimmers who require and need this service.

It has a stand with parasols, loungers and paddle boats.

It has a Fishing School and Sea Library.
