This was one of the eighteen watchtowers constructed along the coast of the province of Castellón, and which were responsible for watching and defending the coast from pirate attacks. Dating back to the 16th century,
it has a square base of capped masonry and saddle brackets. It has a looped machicolation and two circular towers at the height of the terrace at the two rear corners that face the sea. There is a single entrance door 1.80 m above ground level.
The tower is surrounded by a pretty garden by the sea with a large leisure area.
