The las Palmas Desert encompasses 3,200 hectares of protected landscape. From its highest peaks we can see the Montgó peak in Alicante and the marine reserve of the Columbretes Islands. The floral micro-reserve of las Agujas de Santa Águeda (540 m) blooms in interesting colours with its thick, varied vegetation and numerous springs such as la Font Tallada, del Senyor, la Teula and el Roc, which feed the natural wealth of the area.
